The staff goes above and beyond, and is very polite to everyone. The rooms are clean and spacious. Each room has a microwave, a refrigerator with a small freezer and a large TV. The breakfast is hot, with plenty of choices for everyone . When I travel for work, this hotel is always my first choice for lodging
I had an amazing experience staying at this hotel, and a huge part of that was thanks to Cory at the front desk. From the moment I checked in, Cory went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. He greeted me with a genuine smile, handled my check-in quickly, and made sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Throughout my visit, Cory was incredibly helpful — whether it was recommending local restaurants, arranging transportation, or just checking in to see how my stay was going. It’s rare to find someone who clearly takes pride in their job and truly cares about the guests, but Cory absolutely does. The hotel itself was spotless, comfortable, and quiet, but the level of service from Cory really made it stand out. If you’re staying here, you’ll be in great hands. Room was above average in size. I paid a bit extra for the larger room. Couch, easy chair, fridge, desk, and comfortable king bed. Free hot breakfast above average. Service was very good
I had a great stay at the Holiday Inn Express. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and exactly what you want when traveling—quiet rooms, a good breakfast, and an overall welcoming atmosphere. I especially want to highlight Cory at the front desk. Cory was incredibly friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful from the moment I arrived. He made check-in smooth, answered all my questions with patience, and really went above and beyond to make sure I felt taken care of. It’s rare to meet someone who makes such a positive first impression and continues that level of service throughout the stay. Because of the excellent customer service—especially from Cory—I would absolutely stay here again and recommend this Holiday Inn Express to anyone visiting the area.
Stayed here on 10.13.2025 during my adventures through Ohio. The bed was comfortable, the room was spacious, and the shower was hot. The breakfast options were plentiful and the periodic sound of train horns in the distance made my stay here very peaceful. Highly recommend to anyone traveling through Bucyrus, Ohio and I would definitely stay at this location again.
The staff was the absolute best I cannot say enough for how helpful and thoughtful they were during our stay. We are beyond thankful for this community of ladies and gentlemen at this location. 10/10 recommend
Hotel has a nice fitness room, indoor pool, nice area for everyone in your group to sit and talk. Breakfast is ok, if you have a gluten allergy, bring your own food. Rooms are OK. The heat/ air conditioner is loud. In my room it has a bad fan. All workers here are friendly and helpful. Bob Evans is a 5 minute walk. There is a gas station right next to it.
